1) FAU is upset about Tim Tebow going to the Broncos. His well thought out posts on Facebook are a thing of beauty as well.
2) @PVH1976 is home and resting.

4) My son, TEA, has decided (on his own) to become a Roman Catholic, and today is his Christening. While I personally disagree with this choice, I am supporting him, because he is a smart person who is becoming a brilliant young man, and even when you know something to be a mistake, part of being a parent is allowing your children to make some of those.
This is my blog. I speak for no one but myself here. The words I write, the images I post, and the articles I link to interest no one but me. I stand by what I put here, however, it is not a reflection of time, effort, or particular care. I just want a clearinghouse of what does interest me and a space to spout out poorly written and thoughtout rants. Consider this a disclaimer.

And the Great Chicken Health Care Debate Rages On
Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy
If this ends up being the way we have to go as a society, does that mean that Health Care will be controlled by ADM, Monsanto, and Cargill?
Just askin', is all...

Impressions
It is not often that someone does a good impression of me. I am kind of a blank and...well...not that noteworthy.
That being said, I was able to capture @PVH1976 doing a fairly good me.
(The setup is that we saw a commercial for ABC Family showing Pixar's Ratatouille)
Enjoy.

This is like Medical School, right?
Math Being Used For Good
FiveThirtyEight: Politics Done Right: Double Down by the Numbers: Unhealthiest Sandwich Ever?:
"We can, of course, be a bit more exacting about this. I've created an index based on the amount of fat, sodium and cholesterol that the Double Down and a variety of comparable sandwiches contain as a portion of the USDA daily allowance. (In the fat category, saturated fats are counted double and trans-fats are counted triple.) The index is scaled such that the Original Recipe version of the sandwich receives a score of 1.00, a measure of gluttony that will hereafter be known as The Double Down (DD).**"
I say an afternoon requires both a Double Down and a Baconator.
I challenge ECS, FAU, and others to this...quest for greatness, for this is the American Way!
