FAU and I were discussing dining options in Albany and he made the statement that Italian and Indian are the two best represented cuisines in the city.

While I do not disagree with the statement, it seems wrong to me.

Does anyone else have an opinion?

In addition, Burger Centric is brilliant in concept, and the service was attentive, the food, while tasty, was not worth the effort.

With better bread, a lot of things would be forgiven.

For the record, I had the Curry Burger, while my friend had the Surf and Turf Burger.

Some Photos From Last Night's Protest/Rally

Watching Mayor Jennings come out to "talk" about how the protest may interrupt his tree lighting was...comical.

Aside from that, there was a good crowd, and the organization didn't suffer as much as I had thought it would.

I suppose the point of these rallies is not to show outrage, but to allow people to feel like that have a voice.

That being said, I would think that a concentrated lobbying effort would work better than a protest the day after the fact.

Dreams

I had another very very odd dream last night.

I was hanging out with a friend at a bar/restaurant and we were trying to fix my phone (which is a continuing motif) and another friend (whom I haven't spoken to lately) rush into the bar and tried (at my table) to kill themselves.

It was so disturbing that I woke up choked for breath.

Dreams

I had a dream last night that had a series of elements that have been recurrent ...

A) The broken iPhone. In this case, the phone was broken in half. My fear is that when I replace the screen (or the phone itself) is that the broken
iPhone is still going to be a plot element in my dreams.

B) Being involved in crime. I will get more into this in C) but there have been a series of dreams lately that require me to be part of the organizing force in a bank robbery.

C) Like the members of the crime planners, everyone in my dreams has been grossly incompetent. Which sets up more doubt and conflict and puts me in a position of failure. It has been lovely.

Books

I want to read George Smoot's "Wrinkles in Time" or Slavoj Zizak's "A Parallax View".

Does anyone have any opinions on either of the books? I just feel my mind turning into pudding as of late and I want something to challenge me.
