And my brother and I have a conversation

DGA: Is the Olive Garden any good?
Me: No.
DGA: Why not?
Me: Because pasta is the easiest thing in the world to make and they don't make their own.
DGA: But they have a commercial. They are on television. They have to be good.
Me: They have commercials for Pajama Jeans.
DGA: They do. Wait. What are Pajama Jeans?
Me: They are a combination of pajama pants and jeans.
DGA: You mean I don't have to change out of jeans and into jammies when I get home?
Me: They're for women.
DGA: But they have pockets and belt loops?
Me: No belt loops.
DGA: Why do they make all the good things for women?

  1. Three years later, there will be a charcoal portrait of DGA on the front page of the WSJ, accompanying an article entitled "Inventor of Manly Pajama Jeans Cashes In on His Company's IPO; Says Takeover of Olive Garden Next Logical Step."

  2. My mother will be so proud. Do you think that MPJs would be suitable for various fashion blogs?

  3. Yes, especially if it turns out that Levi's has some MPJs in its historical archives...I'm sure gold miners liked to be comfortable AND warm.

  4. Don't forget the artisanal MPJ that will be coming out of Sendagaya.
