With The Walking Dead coming back to television this week, I have been thinking about zombies. (Oh, and Nazis...and adults who use the word "fair" to describe perceived injustice...)
The first version (Romero, 1978) is a favorite of mine and I do really enjoy Zack Snyder's remake in 2004.

Important Movie Quotes - Shaun of the Dead
HJ77 was introduced to Shaun of the Dead recently and she seemed to like it. (This was the second attempt at an introduction to the genre. The first was The Zombie Diaries and it was an abject failure.) One of the reasons that we went with this was because of a discussion around Labor Day with Sandor, who offered the opinion that SotD was a meta-zombie movie, encompassing all the good things (and cliches) of the genre in one 105 minute wrapper.
If you were to choose a favorite zombie film, which one would it be: Dawn of the Dead? Night of the Living Dead? 28 Days Later?
