Community is the best sitcom on television (Network, Archer wins the full category). I have a difficult relationship with (500) Days of Summer.
Together, though, it is really cute and this is well done.
H/T to Dan
This is my blog. I speak for no one but myself here. The words I write, the images I post, and the articles I link to interest no one but me. I stand by what I put here, however, it is not a reflection of time, effort, or particular care. I just want a clearinghouse of what does interest me and a space to spout out poorly written and thoughtout rants. Consider this a disclaimer.

On sustainability - (Nothing But) Flowers
I was going to write something about $4.07 gas, bikes, and sustainability and then I got a song stuck in my head...
So, regardless of my feelings on hydraulic despotism*, sustainable transportation, and things like obesity and dopamine...
I am just going to post the song that got stuck in my head.
*If you have to ask, I don't want to talk with you.

5 Things - Five Things That I Do Not Care For
- Commercial Radio - I do not see the point
- Unaware Bigotry - I know that "ironic" bigotry is still awful, but unaware bigotry just drives me crazy.
- Birthers - Do I need to explain any further?
- Jean Shorts - Along with socks and sandals, just something about them says...no.
- Singing Competitions - Yeah, sucktacular.

Why do I like movies like this?
The High Cost of Living was available on demand this weekend because it was included in the Tribeca film festival.
It is amazing. It is depressing.
It is worth watching.
The plot:
The story of a young, pregnant woman whose world falls apart when she loses her child in a hit and run accident. As her life unravels, Nathalie finds an unlikely protector in Henry, a down and out guardian angel who has followed her thread. But Henry is not quite an angel, and as she struggles to come to terms with the loss, Nathalie discovers that she has fallen in love with the man who ran her over.

It is not what you call a "feel good" movie.
