The End of the Season

Here is what I see...

The Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears, eliminating the Giants from the playoffs based on tie-breakers.

While that is happening, the Giants beat the Hell out of the Redskins, going to 10-6, causing a gnashing of teeth in New York and Dan Snyder to call up Mike Shanahan and demand that Rex Grossman be sacrificed to Ba'al, who is Snyder's Lord and Dark Master.

Then for the late game, the 6-9 Seahawks show that they have the "Greatest Show on Turf" versus the Rams and take the game. The 7-9 Seahawks are in the playoffs while the 10-6 Giants end up on the golf course.

And I will be content with this.

"Why?", you ask.

The Giants do not deserve the playoffs. They have 41 turnovers already this season, and that is not including today's game. (If I knew how many picks Eli would throw today, I would call Hulse or Baker and have them make an option bet for me.) The Giants give it up more than (insert your own misogynistic comment about loose women here) and as a consequence (insert your own social chastisement).

I want Tom Coughlin to be fired. I do not know who to replace him with, well, I have an idea, but I doubt that they would be able to survive the New York media or would be willing to leave their nice SEC job. When Coughlin is gone, Chris Snee is gone. This fills me with a glee that I cannot describe. It is akin to TEA being born on Christmas Day while I am announced a lottery winner and a Macarthur Fellow. That's major glee!

Anyway, football is over, hopefully, and I all I have to look forward to in 2011 in the Giants starting training camp, as the NY Mets have decided not to field a team this season.
